$61.14Louis XV pedestal with variegated timber top above C shaped freeze with acanthus shell scrolls supported by a tapering frame decorated with carved foliates at the knee. The four convex, hand painted panels are inlaid between the frame. The C shaped legs extend in a continuous curve as an extension of the frame and are finished with a scroll. The curved apron under the panels is decorated with carved foliate. The pedestal is available in walnut with gold detailing on the carving. It measures 3½ inches high x 1 ¼ inches square at the base.

The pagoda shaped pediment on the tall section of the cabinet is hand carved. The design of this chair is simple.The top of the chair fame is Cyma shaped, The back is a flat splat with moulded edges and a very small cut out were the splat fits on to the chair seat. (Hence the name yoke back)The top of the back frame and splat are curved back slightly.
