Victorian Parlour pump Organ 1880-walnut
The style of this organ is eclectic, ornate in design, highly intricate, embellished, and decorated. The top section which is called a canopy or hutch is ornamental and has a mirror, a small cabinet and shelving. The ornate detail work like gingerbread and scroll carvings were common features of organs manufactured in this period. Many like this organ also had wood fencing that ran along the top, with a split spool moulding of varying sizes. The Organ measures 8 1/2 inches high x 5 1/4 inches wide x 2 5/8 inches deep and is available in a walnut finish
