Victorian Sofa - American, circa 1840
Empire/Victorian transitional, scroll arm, sofa, circa 1840-1855, The serpentine-arched top rail, the seat rail and arm facings rail are heavily carved with a reticulated leaf scroll. The top rail is flanked by further scroll shaped carvings at each end of the sofa. Further carved decoration can be found on the deep shaped skirt carved with a repeat of the foliated scrollwork. The frame boasts attractive up-swept scroll end arms decorated with foliated carvings that continue through to decorate the curved splay sofa legs. The end of the sofa legs is a carved scroll that serves as the foot for the sofa. The sofa has been upholstered in a top quality silk fabric, hand spun in South Korea, decorated with a foliate pattern, in shades of red The sofa measures 4 inches high x 7 inches wide x 2 1/4 inches deep and is available in a walnut finish.

Victorian Tea Table - walnut
Pedestal table with a fixed oval table top of faux marble. The extensively carved table skirt is scalloped and the under frame consists of diagonally curved stretchers heavily carved and surmounted with finials. The four splay feet are curved.

Circa 1860. Victorian three tier whatnot stand. The uppermost shelf features a fretwork gallery on both sides with turned finials and a raised back that has a small oval sounded with a carved leaf design. The three shelves are supported by turned columns. The stand measures 3 high and is available in a walnut finish.

Romantic solid timber French Bench with serpentine shaped back and upholstered seat cushion. A small heart design has been pearced on the back of the bench. Three turned spinals on either end held in place by a scrolled brace fr om the front rail form arm rests.The short leggs are tuned and the cshion is upholstered in a vintage blue and white cotton fabric. Wing Back Settee Queen Anne Period - walnut
Wingback settee with wings attached to the back of the chair stretching down to the arm rest. The purpose of the wings are to shield the occupant of the chair from drafts, and to trap the heat from a fireplace hence, in the past these were often used near a fireplace.
