Settee Jacobean-walnut
Influenced by the reign of King James (r. 1603-1625). ... Jacobean furniture was lighter than Tudor furniture, made to be seen from all angles and placed a greater emphasis on comfort. The settee is fully upholstered with a loosee seat cushion. The back of the settee has a slight curve and the front of the arms curve down to join the shaped settee apron. The three front legs and the spreader bars are turned with blocks where the spreader bars cross and meet the legs. The Settee Measures 4 5/8 inches wide 2 3/8 inches deep x 3 inches high and is available in a walut finish upholstered in a green Jacobean print fabric

Small Bow front sideboard in classic Venetian style Louis XIV. Hand painted with chinoiserie decorations. The enclosed base and side panels are scroll cut in cyma curves. The curves are detailed in gold. The back of the cabinet is square cut and the top of the cabinet is bowed at the front There is one interior shelf. Spanish Dining Table Late 17th Century
Spanish furniture was much heavier than Italian or French and during the 17th Century trestle supports were used more than legs on benches and stools. Often they would have iron braces to strengthen the item and for decorative purposes. This exquisite table has a rectangular top with a hand carved banding abound all sides. The apron is decorated with a floral design carving and in each corner a small carved bracket has been incorporated under the table top. The tall banded lye shaped trestle ends supporting the table sit on ball and claw feet. A caved medallion joins the two cyma curves that form the lye shape and the faux metal iron brace acts as a spreader bar between the trestle ends. The table measures 2 1/2 inches high x 6 long x inches long x 3 3/8 inches wide and is available in a walnut finish.
