1450- 1480 Sacristy Cupboard -walnut
The most characteristically Spanish furniture of the early periods in its history are cabinets, called Sacristy meaning a cabinet wich was used by the priests to strore their vestments and and any vessels used in their services.The hangings and altar linens a were also stored in these cabinets.The two door panels on this beautiful miniature repoduction are decorated with a relief carving of the king and Queen of Spain.The sides of the cabinet have been carved and the plynth decorated with the same carving as the two drawer fronts in the Friez. The door and drawer handles are faux iron rings. The top of the cabinet is decorated with a moulded cornice. A similar moulding with carved reeding has been used under the door section of the cabinet.The cabinet is supported on a banded lye shaped trestle ends supporting the table sit on ball and claw feet. A caved medallion joins the two cyma curves that form the lye shape and the faux metal iron brace acts as a spreader bar between the trestle ends. The cabinet measues 6 inches high x 4 inches wide x 1 1/2inches deep and is available in a walnut finish

16C Tudor Side Cabinet - walnut
Tudor Side cabinet. Half an octagon in shape the top has a concave moulding around all sides. The small panels have been decorated with roundel designed carvings. The bottom shelf is enclosed by the back panel of the cabinet. The Cabinet measures 2 7/8 inches high x 2 3/4 long x 1 7/8 inches wide and is available in a walnut finish.

16th Century Low Round Table-Walnut
Spanish furniture was simples in design and construction it was much heavier than Italian or French and the ornamentation showed Moorish and Classical influence.This Round table top is square cut giving to poduce the heavier look associated with the funitue of this era.The four leg supports have been carved in the Spanish curvature and notching style forming a flat bracket at the top of each leg to support the table. The feet have been formed as a continuous part of the leg.The speader bars with the same curvatures as the legs have a notched joint at the centre were they cross. The table measures 4 1/2 inches in diameter x 2 1/2 inches high and is available in a walnut finish.

17th C Refectory Table - walnut
During the 16th century, Spanish design was a unique blend of Renaissance and Moorish design. In this table ( or escritorio)we see how the two styles have been combined with a simple, square edged, plank table top and heavy carving on the table skirt and drawer fronts. Referred to as a long table, a term that supersedes the name refractory table which once applied to a table of this size but was changed C 1540 after the abolishment of the monasteries during the reformation, is supported on ring turned spindle legs with spreader bas just above floor level. The four drawer fronts are decorated with a leaf carving and have ring style drawer pulls. A similar carving has been repeated on the remaining thee sides of the table apron. The table measures 2 1/2 inches high x 6 inches long x 23 inches wide and is available in a walnut finish.

17th C Spanish Credenza
Low four door cupboard supported on turned baluster legs with bun feet and scrolled, faux iron, stetchers. The bottom of the cabinet has a paneled frieze with entelac and patera carvings.The four large doors feature hand carved figures in a geometric chip carved frames.The door handles and design above and below the frames is a faux iron. Chip carving has been used to decorate the door frames. The top of the cabinet has a small moulded edge and ovehangs the cupboard section to match the lower platform. There is one interior shelf. The Cabinet measures 3 8/8 inches high x 5 1/2 inches wide x 1 3/4 inches deep and is available in a walnut finish.

The most characteristically Spanish furniture of the early periods in its history are cabinets, called first "escritorio" and then from around 1800 "Varguenos", made of wood ornamented on the outside with wrought iron.This Low three door cupboard supported on a stand has an overhanging rectangular top, The stand has scolled legs and a scrolled iron stetcher at the front and a turned wooden stetcher at the back.This solid, plain cabinet has centally placed shield carving on the raised door panels and the door handles and hinges hae been painted black, repesenting the iron work on the origional cabinet. The cabinet measures 3 inches high x 7 inches long x 1 3/4 inches deep and is available in a walnut finish.

19th Century French Renaissance Buffet
French Renaissance Two-Tiered Buffet extensively caved with a moulded serpentine shaped crown. The raised tier has two carved drawers with Fax brass handles. The bold plinth base moulding with Lions' paws feet support the cabinet. Knights are depicted along with copious foliate motifs on the front of the 2 doors in the lower potion of the cabinet. 19th Gothic Panelled Bed - walnut
The headboard and foot board are upholstered in a dark red leather. The four carved corner pillars are surmounted by a spire topped with a finial set in a flower. The carving on the headboard is in open relief and depicts mainstream gothic designs. The carving on the footboard mirrors those on the headboard. The bed headboard measures 6 1/2inches high and the foot of the bed measures 4 inches to the highest point. The bed is 7 inches long x 4 3/4 inches wide and is available in a walnut finish.
